2010 is officially here, so it's only fitting that I make my every first blog post to commemorate this epic moment. Right? It is not only the end of a year, but also the end of a decade. So it is, in my mind, indeed, epic.
I am terrible about keeping my New Year resolutions. So here I am, writing them down, for all of the blogging world to see. {I expect you all to hold me to it. } I am hoping this will help insure that I keep them. I'll keep you posted.
Here is goes:
As far as the blogging world goes, I am going to post more, take more pictures, and actually keep up on all of your blogs as well.
In the realm of healthy living, I would like to run a half marathon this year. I started off my running career with a 10K last August, so the appropriate thing to do would be to go a little further, right? Only eight miles further.. {I need some reassurance...PLEASE} 14 miles is no big deal. That will have to be my mantra...As I take on this task I also hope to keep a better log in my running blog, which you can all find here. So check it, because you all need to make sure I keep my promise!
Spiritually, I want to read the entire Bible this year. I think I usually focus on the B of M and Doctrine and Covenants a little to much. This year, I want to step outside the box. I want to learn about the Creation, the life of Jesus Christ, and all things in between, so that I can better understand why we are here, where we're going, and to develop a better testimony of our Savior.
As a wife, I would like to strengthen my relationship with my husband. This will encompass going on more dates, vacations, camping, etc. It will truly prove to be a challenge due to Robby's work schedule these days, but I'm up to it!
In general, I want to take myself outside of my comfort zone this year. I'm not sure what this means just yet, and as soon as I do, I'll let you know!
I think that just about sums it up! Happy New Year everyone!
