Caydence is pulling her fine self up to things now. She has got it all figured out in her crib. Every time I go in to greet her in the morning or after a nap, she is always up and at it.
Speaking of cribs and pull ups. I went in to Little C's bedroom this morning to feed her and change her bum. She was sad and crying because it was 4:30 a.m., which is not her usual wake up time. Naturally, I drug myself out of bed to help the little chunk. I didn't have my contacts in. I grabbed her a bottle, and headed in her room to start changing her bum. Caydence was standing up to her crib as she is in the above pictures. I started to feel for her diaper.
You know what I felt? Bare baby bum. Somehow she got her diaper off. This is not what I was expecting that early in the morning. Luckily, I got there before any accidents ensued. Thank the Lord. Changing an entire bed at 4:30 a.m. is not ideal.
As of late, bedtime has been one of the most stressful times of the day with this little girl {Her teeth have almost made it in.} However, it's my favorite time. She still likes to be swaddled and cuddled before bedtime. But only bedtime. Over the past few weeks, Caydence has decided that she is Miss Independant and doesn't need her Momma's cuddles unless she has a 'bonk' or is ready for bed. I look forward to it. {Not her head-bonking, but bedtime.} I love to hold that little baby, even though she would rather be free to roam the house, get into the DVD's, and wrap herself up in cords.
Caydence turned 9 months on the 25th of July. I cannot believe how much she has changed in such a short period of time. It's unbelievable. More and more she is turning into a little girl, and no longer a baby. As much as I am excited for her to start walking and talking, it's bittersweet. I just want to cuddle and hold that baby forever! But, Independence and growth is a good thing. Bring.It.On.
Anyway.
As for me. I am running, working, going on adventures with Winston, and maybe going to school. Scheduling is going to be very difficult this year.
I'll update you more on that as it happens. The Husband is Caydence watching, working, and house hunting {Because he is good at those things. House hunting, that is. I am not.}.
Envy our lives. We are totally exciting.
Later Gators.
