My Little C turned 10 months recently. I can hardly believe we have less than 2 months and she will already be a year old. I have no idea when my newborn baby turned into such a big girl.
Along with the newness of a 10 month-er, Caydence got sick for the very first time. What started as a runny nose and teething, turned into a 102.4 fever and an ear infection. I knew she wasn't feeling very good, but I figured it was because she was cutting three teeth. :(
She started antibiotics almost two days ago, and I can see a little bit of improvement each day. She wants to play a little bit instead of sitting in my lap all day. {Which I don't mind...The sitting in my lap all day part.} It has been so hard to see her sick. It breaks my heart. But, at the same time I am completely thankful that we have been able to make it almost an entire year without any sickness. We have been really lucky!
Anyway. Enough about that. Caydence is getting better, and will be back to her independent self in no time. I just know it.
At 10 months Little C is:
-Standing up to EVERYTHING. She even likes to grab on to my legs to try and pull herself up. I think she stands more than she sits at this point.
-She is eating more solid foods. She really likes yogurt, blueberries, cucumbers (In vinegar! What can I say, she takes after her Momma), mashed potatoes, bread, and crackers.
-She likes to wave to everyone.
-She has TANTRUMS. Oh my goodness. She throws her head back dramatically when she doesn't get her way and cries and cries. Sometimes she throws her head back right onto the hardwood floor...and then she really has a tantrum.
-She loves to be around other children. Even when we are at the store, she is always watching the other kids around us.
-She has no bald spot! Her hair is finally filling in on the back of her head. But now, it looks like she has a reverse mullet. Yaaaaay.
-She understands "No." and "Look." She also understands that she is Caydence, and will give you a big smile every time you say her name.
-She likes me to read her books. Sometimes we can get through 2-3 books, and other times we can only get through half of one. But she knows when I sit down in the banana chair, she needs to sit in my lap so we can look at books. She particularly enjoys books with dogs.
-Speaking of dogs; she loves them. She cannot get enough of Winston.
I am behind. I am always behind on this blog. I have about 100 things that I want to post, but rather than bomb you with 17 posts in one day, I will spread them out over the next couple of days. Be ready for that.
