This weekend I got to see my BFF Darci! I don't get to see her very often because she lives in Arizona, and well, we live here in Payson. So when she text me to tell me she was actually going to be in Payson last weekend, I was SO EXCITED! I don't have any pics....I know, shame, shame! I forgot my camera. But I'm sure Darci will have some on her blog. :) I got to see her little one, Ainsley, for the first time EVER! She is the most well-behaved baby I think I have ever met. We went out to lunch at Los Hermanos, went to the mall, back to the car, down the road to Babies R' Us to get a little stroller, and back to the mall, and I don't think that Ainsley cried once! She just smiled and cooed away. She's a natural borne shopper! You have her trained already Darci!
In other news: We are now down to one vehicle. Robby's dad decided to put his company truck on the lot at Chatwin Motors.......SIGH. I'm not upset about the fact that Robby doesn't have a company truck....his Dad has been great to us. There is just a lot more to it than that. But if I open up my mouth about it, I may not be able to stop. Rar. That's all. Cate...I love your fam, but sometimes....I could just scream. It hasn't been that big of a deal because Robby and his dad just carpool to work....on the days they are working. But the trouble is, they haven't been doing much work. So while I'm at work...Robby is stranded at home. Or if Robby drives me to work, then I can't run my errands for work, the whole situation is just ridiculous. I'm not happy about it, to say the least. So we may be getting something new here pretty quick, then we won't have to rely so much on the company for a vehicle. That is it...That's all. I'm not saying anymore because it just makes me upset, and when I say upset....it means mad, and I don't usually get upset. I'm a pretty calm person generally.
Anyway....
We have officially decided that we are going to Sturgis, SD with my Dad and Lori this year! If you don't know what it is then I'll leave you with this:

ReplyDeleteI'm jealous you got to see Darci. She texted me and that weekend was so crazy I couldn't meet you guys. I was bumbed so we have to try again soon- it's so not fair I couldn't go.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, i love how you singled me out :) Nah I completely understand about the whole vehicle situation. When my car was totaled Chris and I had a major problem on our hands...my in-laws were wonderful enough to let me borrow one of their vehicles....I love them for that and i love them to death anyways, but needless to say things got push to shove and I ended up with a car I really didn't want....but who is to complain? Life isn't fair and you can't always get what you want... I'm glad i have a running vehicle now :) Did you want Chris to keep checking the LDS website for you to keep an eye out? Are you going to be looking for a truck then?
