Reverence is Love.

So I imagine that normal couples sit quietly during sacrament meeting and listen to the speakers.

Well...we have a problem. I think that we both have ADD.

On Sunday, once sacrament meeting commenced, I started to fiddle with Robby's hands as I usually do. Looking for scabs, I know I'm gross, or other things that I can 'mend' while I'm sitting here. Upon doing so, I started pushing the cuticles back on Robby's finger nails, because it bugged me. (I'm OCD, yes) I got to his pinkie finger, which had a little cut on it, and as I started to push back the cuticle, he goes, AH!. Which was kind loud for the Chapel, and which also scared the pants off of me, because I totally wasn't expecting him to do it! He was teasing me by the way, it really didn't hurt him. What a punk huh? Then he proceeds to laugh hysterically about it for a good five minutes. It's kind of hard to get away with any noise sort of noise during sacrament meeting...let alone laughter...

So later on, one of the members in our Ward came up to us as church was ending and asked, "Now what is your name again? My wife was asking what your names were, and I completely forgot!." So we told him, and had a little conversation and went on our way. So afterwards I said to Robby, "You know why his wife was asking about us don't you?" He said, No. So I proceeded to tell him that they were sitting directly behind us in sacrament meeting. After our little outburst, I'm sure she was wondering who the heck those irreverent people were!

So not only will I forever be known as the girl that passed out at the ward camp-out, but also that irreverent couple in sacrament meeting. Nice.

  1. love it! We just blame our giggles on Jaylie. It usually is her fault we are playing, she is so irreverent. Somebody should tell her parents...
