Here are some pics of the event.
I am such a terrible mother that I did not get one picture of Caydence in her blessing dress. I know...Shame. On. Me. As soon as we left sacrament meeting Little C was like, "MOM. I NEED SLEEP NOW!", and I put her down for a nap once we got back to the house. She didn't wake up until nearly everyone was gone, which explains the lack of pictures of my sweet baby on her special day. I am going to make myself feel better by saying that I listened to my Little C's needs, and let her take a nappy, even though it would have been nice to sport her around on her blessing day. She would have been a little grump-weed had I not. So it was for the greater good, right? That's what I'm telling myself.
P.S. Husband's face in his family's group photo makes me laugh. Every. Time. I love my dear husband. :)
Next up. The Sportsman's Expo! We went to the Sportsman's Expo again this year with Husband's sister and her husband's family. We are actually kind of close with my sister-in-laws, in-laws. Is that weird?? They are really great people, and Husband does a lot of hunting with them. It's kind of like they are a part of our family. Crazy, huh?
Anyway. Here are the day's events represented by another collage. Collages are the bomb. So much better than loading a billion pictures to blogger.
Now. Since the weather has been totally lamesauce and gross lately. We've also been spending a lot of time at home. Taking lots of pictures of my cute baby...
We got Little C an Exersaucer since she loves to stand so much. She loves it. She stands there and screams at her toys. I'll get a video of it soon. :)
Things that my Little C is doing right now:
-Smiles like crazy.
-Has the most adorable laugh.
-She screams when she is happiest.
-She can roll from her back to her front, and vica versa.
-She is eating solid foods.
-She loves peas, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, and prunes. We tried bananas for the first time, and she is actually very indifferent about them. I thought she would love them right off the bat.
-She loves to lay on her back and kick her feet a million miles an hour.
-She loves Winston. Any time he is in the room her eyes are on him.
-She is learning how to splash herself in the tub. She gets's mommy in the process as well. Not sure I'm a fan of that. But, she sure loves it.
-She is a supported sitter. Soon enough she'll be sitting on her own.
-She loves to stand. Loves it.
-She is learning how to use her little hands to grab on to things and pull them into her mouth.
I love my C Baby. Speaking of Little C, and Winston. Funny story.
He's not so little anymore.
I have to preface this story by saying that Winston loves to be around Little C. If she is on the floor, he is always laying next to her. Lately C-bot has started to grab on to him, which is is totally fine with. He's such a good puppy with the baby. Anyway. They were laying on the floor together. I was sitting on the couch and Winston was laying between me and Caydence. I could just see her little arms swinging away on the other side of him.
She started making a sucking sound, which is completely normal. She is always putting her hands in her mouth and sucking on those things like no tomorrow. Anyway, after a couple of minutes she started fussing a little bit so I leaned over to see what was wrong. Lo' and behold, she had turned herself towards Winston, and was sucking on his neck! She had herself a mouthful of Winston hair. Winston had this giant slobbery hair-horn for the rest of the day. Good thing we had given Winston a bath previously that day!
