Much too much

Here is the latest:

On Wednesday the 8
th, a week ago (I know, I'm a bit slow), Robby and I celebrated our 4th year anniversary. Woohoo! Almost to our first landmark! My work provided a $50 gift certificate for Robby and I to celebrate our special day at Magleby's Oyster bar and Grill. They have some scrumptious chocolate cake with raspberry sauce there...YUM! I had THE hardest time trying to find a gift for Robby. What do you get for the man who has everything?? Robby had actually been talking about the movie WALL-E quite a bit, and how much he couldn't wait for it to come out on video. So I decided it would be fun to get him a WALL-E figurine of some sort for our anniversary. Kinda lame, but I thought it would be fun.

Robby and I are really horrible about keeping secrets from each other, especially when it comes to gifts. Probably because we are both super impatient. Anyway, so as usual we were giving hints to each other regarding the presents we had gotten. I just told him that my gift was mostly sentimental. He didn't guess it. So I started making guesses about his present for me. I established that it wasn't a Nintendo DS (Sigh), but it was something for my Jeep. It turns out, that he got me new headlights. But it's really the thought that counts, the headlights that I have on my Jeep are a little less than effective, and Robby wants me to be safe. Realistically, I'm pretty lucky because how many wives can say that they received headlights as a gift for their anniversary? Hehe!

Well, the next day, Thursday, I started feeling a little bit ill. Nothing I couldn't handle, so I just went about my business as usual. Before I went to bed that night, my stomach was feeling a little upset. I usually don't get sick, so I went to bed thinking that I would sleep it off. WRONG! I woke up at about 2 a.m. with the most upset stomach ever, which later followed with vomit. I'll spare you the rest of the details.....all you need to know is, it was awful. On Friday, I decided it would be best for everyone if I just stayed home from work. Shortly after Robby left for work, I woke up, and Bodie did as well.

Usually when I'm sick Bodie is my little "comforter". He sits by me all day, and follows me around the house. However, this occasion was much different. When Bodie needs to go potty, he stands by the sliding glass door, sticks is nose in the blinds to make some noise, (so we'll know he's there), and then wait. He's an impatient little bugger so if you don't go and let him out quickly he starts to pace back and forth in the kitchen. Right after we got up, he was doing his little routine to go potty, which is normal because he always potties in the morning. I opened the door for him, and then layed back down. Standing up for more than a few minutes made me feel like a was going to barf. He came back in the house, and all of this freezing cold air was coming in the house, so I shut the door and layed down again.

At this point, he would normally be laying with me. But no, for some reason, he thought he HAD to be outside, but he can't stay outside if the glass door is shut behind him. He freaks out if we shut the door while he is out there. So he kept on doing the "potty routine", rustling the blinds, and pacing nonstop back and forth in the kitchen because I wouldn't let him out. So next, to be even more of a nuisance, he comes and sits in front of me, but won't come and lay down with me for ANYTHING. He just kept on pacing and staring at me. I don't even know why he wanted to be outside, it was bitter cold that day. Pretty much, he drove me nuts the whole time I was sick. Good news: I got better by Saturday.

Description of Saturday: Playstation 2. New Games. We are nerds.

Sunday we vegged a little more. Robby played more Playstation while I did my homework for about 7 hours (with breaks). Sunday was also my cousin's baby's blessing. We drove up to Pleasant Grove, and met at the church. We saw lots and lots of family, ate food, and visited with everyone.

That pretty much wraps ups it up!

  1. Ha ha, love the anniversary present! :) Nah, it was very considerate of him. Tells ya how much he loves you and wants you to be safe. By the way I forgot to tell you happy anniversary on the 8th! So sorry!

I have no idea what to get Chris for our anniversary, or Christmas, or his birthday...ugh. It's all basically within one months time.

    Any suggestions? :)

  2. Well I actually have an idea for what I'm going to do next year, because it's our big 5....muah haha. I was thinking about buying like a couple of flying lessons for Rob. It's something you don't get to do every day. It would be pretty fun I think.

  3. Flying lessons, as in flying a plane lessons? That would be cool! Chris always wants to fly the jets from the base.

  4. Yep yep, my mom did that for my dad a few years ago. It was in Nephi though, they have a little airport there. But I'm sure they offer things like that up in your area as well.
