Fail...

At least as far as looks go.

I just tried to make this:

It looks just divine, right? It is called Rhubarb Struesel Cake with Warm Vanilla Sauce, which I found on my favorite website, My Kitchen Cafe. Love that site. So many good things.

This is what I got:

A little embarrassing...My streusel melted away for some reason and my cake caved in the middle. Granted it's still edible. It definitely does not look as pretty as it should...

I think it may not have turned out exactly perfect, because I don't like rhubarb. So I substituted for some apricots....yeah....the Cake Gods did not like the change I made I suppose. I have never EVER had a cake fall on me in all of my Cake Baking Career. I'm a little saddened by it. Oh well, chances are it will still taste fabulous. Hopefully.....

Anyway....I had to share. It made me laugh a bit, and hopefully someone else finds this comical as well.
