Labor Day Weekend Blues

This is what we did this weekend:

Is it a mistake, you may be asking? No. Sadly. We did a whole lotta' nothing over the weekend. A nice three day weekend, and we pretty much sat at home, played with Winston, read, and watched movies. How lame is that?

I'm really not complaining though. It was one day extra that I got to spend with Robby, even if we did just sit at home, absorb oxygen, and release carbon dioxide.

We did attempt to go to The Zoo Saturday actually. The Hoogle Zoo, if your confused about all of the many zoos we have here in Utah. We were about a mile away from said location, and we noticed there were cars lined up along the sides of the road.

Robby said, "Those cars better not be parked to go to The Zoo."

I said, "Nah, they can't be. It can't be THAT busy."

ERRRR. WRONG.

It was jam-packed. People in their cars stalking other people trying to escape, through the parking lots, and along the sides of the roads just to get a dang parking spot.  We tried to stalk, but inpatients took over after about 5 minutes, and we bailed. Yes, sadly, we bailed. So we spent the rest of the afternoon meandering around Salt Lake, and then back down to Happy Valley.

So that, my friends, was my epic Labor Day Weekend.

Be jealous. :)
